about me

When I moved to Toronto to study at the Ontario College of Art and Design, I discovered that being half Swiss, half Egyptian, francophone and at the time newly bilingual, was the perfect way to blend into this amazing city.
This was also when I discovered that silkscreen printing is my passion. After graduation, and a three year residency at the Harbourfront Craft Studios, I opened my own silkscreen printing studio in the Queen West District of Toronto. It was during this time that I developed a line of silkscreen printed pillows. This was just the beginning of a great printing adventure. From pillows to clothing to commissioned work to limited edition artwork and print installations – I have printed on every possible fabric and surface, participated in some of the biggest art and craft shows in Canada and the U.S, attended international artists residencies, and collaborated with great artists and designers. I was also commissioned four times by the Art Gallery of Ontario and 13 of my prints on paper are in the City of Toronto Art Collection.
Printing printing printing, what a great way to spend all these years. And I can’t wait for more!
